Dibij Energy Welcomes Ecobank Chairman Bola Adesola for Leadership and Mentorship Visit

Dibij Energy was pleased to welcome Mrs. Bola Adesola, Chairman of Ecobank Nigeria, to our Lagos office for a courtesy visit and mentorship session with our leadership team.

A long-standing mentor and trusted adviser to the company’s leadership, Mrs. Adesola toured our office and engaged with members of our technical, subsurface and support teams before joining the Managing Director/CEO and senior leadership for a wide-ranging discussion on the company’s growth journey, technology roadmap and ambitions for the future.

Discussions explored the role of AI, data analytics and emerging technologies in reservoir engineering and geoscience, and how technology can move beyond improving efficiency to become a genuine source of competitive advantage.

The session also highlighted Dibij Energy’s commitment to STEM development, community engagement and gender advocacy within the energy sector, particularly as we continue to build the foundations for sustainable growth.

In her remarks, Mrs. Adesola commended Dibij Energy’s journey from concept to execution, describing it as a reflection of focus, discipline and purposeful growth. She encouraged the team to continue investing in initiatives that develop the next generation of talent while embedding strong ESG and gender considerations into the company’s growth strategy.

She also expressed confidence in the strength of Dibij Energy’s leadership and advisory structure, and reaffirmed her continued support for the company’s ambitions across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
