Managing Director/CEO

Ibim is a talented energy professional multifaceted in several areas including strategy, change management, management, leadership and project development and execution. He has over a decade and a half industry experience having worked on projects both onshore and offshore within the energy sector. He has developed profound technical, commercial and leadership capabilities whilst leading several teams within and outside of work.

To date, Ibim has worked on Major Capex Projects for the largest London-listed independent oil and gas company with a leading position in the United Kingdom, national oil company, multinational operating and service oil companies respectively (Harbour Energy UK, GOIL, Total Energies and PGS).

Ibim’s commitment to personal growth reflects in his executive certifications from Yale School of Management, The Said Business School, University of Oxford, and Harvard Business School. Ibim sits on different boards including the executive board of Design Week Lagos where he creates innovative solutions for stakeholder engagements. As the pioneer mentoring lead for AFBE-UK Scotland, he helped set up the first formal mentoring program which is now well subscribed. He also led AFBE-UK Transition team, in which he was involved in leading a team of engineers and C-suite leaders from different multinationals in organizing career events around the UK. These earned him the 2021 AFBE-UK Member of the Year Award.

He holds an MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen. He is a recipient of the University of Aberdeen and Principal’s Excellence Awards, TotalEnergies and Shell Scholar, finalist of the 2023 Great British Businesswoman Series Excellence Awards.

Outside of work, he is passionate about giving back to the community, coaching and mentoring young students in discovering their purpose in life. He is the pioneer mentoring committee Chair for the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).

With over 38 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas business, Angela has proved to be an effective leader with a track record of managing diverse multi-disciplinary subsurface teams. Described as having ‘superb’ Joint Venture management skills by a co-venturer, she also has enviable experience working for the UK government regulator. She has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead a team to influence corporate strategies, deliver work programs, and achieve technical and production goals.

Angela has worked as a team leader in Exploration, Appraisal and Development in the UK, Norway and Gabon, and as a Geophysicist she has been responsible for discovering new fields & multiple successful development well campaigns.

On leaving the OGA, Angela was engaged as contributor, and technical and commissioning editor for the ‘Elgar Concise Encyclopedia of Oil and Gas Law’ by Professor Tina Soliman Hunter, Angela Dobb & Professor Ernst Nordtveit (published 2024).

Angela is committed to developing the next generation of geoscientists & for several years she was the Chair of the steering committee for both the Geophysics and Integrated Petroleum Geoscience MSc courses at Aberdeen University.

Angela has experience at board level as a director of Endurance GB, the company that governs the sport of Endurance Riding in the UK. Although she no longer competes in equestrian events.

Angela earned her BSc in Geology from the University of London, an MSc in Structural Geology & Rock Mechanics from Imperial College London.

Rocky has spent over 40 years in the Energy Industry, initially working for Shell (33 years) and continuing as an independent consultant and advisor (11 years). He has held senior positions in seismic acquisition, interpretation, exploration, development, production and research, working and living in numerous areas around the globe. He has pioneered expert innovation in areas of direct hydrocarbon indicators, wide azimuth acquisition, sub-salt imaging, time-lapse & life-of-field monitoring, and distributed acoustic sensing. Rocky has taught courses in integrated exploration evaluation, risking, and economics, and has served as an Expert Witness in a variety of patent and field development legal disputes. Additionally, he has also recently advised in the areas of Carbon Capture & Storage and Geothermal.

He has demonstrated throughout his career the ability to deliver business value through the application of science, knowledge, and innovative technologies. Rocky is an Air Force veteran and holds bachelor’s & master’s degrees in physics including a PhD in Nuclear Physics from The Ohio State University.

Rocky has served as member and chair of numerous professional committees. He has uniquely served on the Board of Directors’ of SEG (2014-2016), SEG Advanced Modeling - SEAM (2013-2014), and the SEG Foundation (2022-2025), for which he is currently the Chair. His volunteer work among students with the initiation of SEG EVOLVE, early design of SEG’s Honorary Lecture Program, and participation in Mentoring has been extensive and continues to this day. He has twice served as SEG’s Annual Meeting Technical Chairman (2006 & 2015) and is an active supporter of Woman’s Networks, DEI Committees, and is an SEG Life Member and Foundation Trustee Associate.

Toks Erezi joined DIBIJ Energy as Chief Operations Officer in 2024. With a background in Engineering and Finance, he has over 20 years’ experience in the exploration and production value chain, primarily with extensive experience in technical, operational and commercial management of upstream assets across several continents.

Toks has undertaken major CAPEX projects both onshore and offshore within exploration and development subjects.

Prior to joining the Company, he held several positions including Senior Managing Consultant for Sonar Energy, Technical Advisor for Gulf Shield Energy Ghana, and Oil & Gas Outlook Consulting Group United Kingdom (OGOCG).

He has 6 degrees (Bachelor, 4 Masters, and PhD) in Engineering, Finance, Petroleum Economics and Management from 5 major cities across the globe including London, Manchester, Geneva, Paris, and Edinburgh.

He has published over 25 technical papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

He is an active member of the Nigerian Society of Petroleum Engineers (M-SPE) and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (M-EAGE).
